So last week I was looking up the local community centers and places to advertise when I saw that there was a craft faire coming up. I believe that day might have been October 19, the craft faire was scheduled for November 1…why not try to get in it. After a couple emails, phone calls and Facebook messages, it was set. Quilt’m had a booth at the crafe faire. While the main purpose is to promote quilts from ready made to custom to t-shirt quilts, I thought…why not sell the other items my sisters, mom and I have laying around. The gathering began…but wait I don’t have a sample t-shirt quilt…so what do I do? I make one…when I should be working on a customer’s quilt.
Now I have a sample, not only for a tshirt quilt, but for quilting styles as each block has a different pattern.
Along with custom quilt promotion, we will have a raffle drawing, and many hand made items including but not limited to girl’s dresses, pillowcases, scarves, shawls, quilts, dish clothes, hand bags, aprons, wood block pumpkins and potted plants….quite an assortment. There should be something for every one. It would be great to see you there, at the Mission Oaks Community Center on Gibbons in Carmichael, ca.
